Questions And Answers On Benefits Of Meditation On Stress
Benefits Of Meditation On Stress

Mike asks…
“Why are people damaging themselves and also avoiding or rejecting things that could help them like the benefits of meditation?”
The benefits of meditation are well known. Stress release, relaxation, amplifying one’s view, self-knowledge, transforming one’s limitations, opening to intuition & new horizons, etc. but only a small minority are practicing meditation regularly and a part of these because their religious demands it. On the other hand established habits are damaging physical and mental health of almost all humans, although it is known that these habits are destructive and not only causing a lot of disease & suffering but also trapping humanity in a numb condition where any growing is blocked.
Why are ways to free oneself are avoided and rejected? And the benefits of meditation played down. Is it that by meditating one would go beyond one’s old habits and find new spaces which give more satisfaction than consuming what ever? Or is it that by meditating one would leave those identifications behind and so transform one’s personality?
Answers On The Benefits Of Meditation On Stress
Good question the benefits of meditation are sometimes taken for granted. I think it is because we prefer our dream world over the real world, and this mostly because we don’t know there is another possibility. When the dream gets very bad, then one might come to the point of being receptive for uplifting possibilities. The benefits of meditation on stress release cannot be overemphasized, it puts on in a position where we can recharge our batteries.
Everyone knows what it is like to dream, you are in a different world and most often you are relieved to wake up to touch reality and get out of the nonsense world of the dream. What people don’t know is that they are dreaming while they are awake too. The difference is that while awake they are not conscious they are dreaming. While asleep one’s mind and emotions are relaxed so one can realize they are dreaming and even review what the dream was after waking up.
During the daytime, because one is busy reacting as the personality, one is manifesting one’s dream all day long and can’t remember it or review it, because all of one’s free energy is being used to create the dream, there is no free energy left to record the dream. (This aspect will change with rising awareness, as one will gain more energy and be able to see the dream during the daytime more frequently, thus making it that one can review it.) This is one of the main benefits of meditation.
Most people are so tied up in their daily world, and and dont realize what the bebefits of meditation are. Especially with relieving stress.
